Description: HTL-6040 high temperature laminating is a tough, heat cure resin hat has excellent heat distortion, stable physicals property for tools requiring elevated temperatures. Cure schedules ranging from 30 minutes to 130°C (266°F) to 24 hours at 75° (166°F) are adequate to attain properties that are satisfactory for many applications. However for optimum high temperature performance, a minimum cure schedule of 2 hours at 150°C (300°F) or 1 hour at 175°C (350°F) is required. Upon completion, the tool should be allowed to cure at ambient temperature. At that point apply an oven cure according to the following schedule: (This schedule is recommended for a tool which will be exposed to an operating temperature of 350°F). 1 hour @ 150°F 1 hour @ 200°F 1 hour @ 250°F 1 hour @ 300°F 3 hours @ 350°F 1 hour @ 400°F After the oven has cooled to ambient temperature (77 degrees) remove the tool.
